Indiana courthouses. This type of majestic building can be found in some of the smallest towns--the county courthouse. Built around the turn-of-the-century, these buildings reflect the significance and honor given to the court system at the time. Sadly, many have been torn down and replaced with smaller, box-like buildings that do save on maintenance, but at what cost? This is Rensselaer Indiana's with a grand sycamore tree to accent it.
Fantastic architecture and photo composition. You willhave to take a photo, same perspective, when the tree has leaves. I bet it's a beauty then also.
ReplyDeleteI just love the Indiana courthouses too! Two more to check out are in Noblesville, In and Bluffton, IN.
