Orchid in winter. Each year I go with a friend and my daughter (top picture) to enjoy an orchid display in Indianapolis. For those of us with dreary winters, it seems just like paradise. We spend the afternoon soaking up the warmth, admiring the beautiful flowers, inhaling the sweet fragrances, taking photos, and visiting. I picked this picture of the orchids because I like the backlighting, delicate coloring and textures of the petals.
What a stunning orchid - lighting is perfect.
