Almost sweet sixteen. Mari looked and looked for a dress to wear to a Valentine's Dance next Saturday. A lot of the dress styles these days just don't suit her. She shopped at all the stores at the mall and had no luck. Tonight we happened to stop by a small store that we've seen several times, but never been in. Yellow, purple, white, silver, blue--they had all kinds of dresses. Mari chose a sparkly, black dress with a skirt that swirls in Marilyn Monroe style. Can you believe the dress was $20.00 and the sweater was $1.00? Here she is trying it on again at home. She said it felt so nice to have a chance to dress up. More pictures to come next week when she is ready to go.

Day 38 February 7
