Caught the last light of evening on these columbines near the back door. When I see columbines I always think of mountains and pioneers for some reason. I guess they are old-fashioned.
The white columbines are so pretty. I have pink ones that Sharon gave me and dark blue ones that were entangled in the roots of a rose that my neighbor gave me. Both are blooming now and they are lovely, like yours. A great pic again. Happy weekend.
I'm excited to be in a new year--a new decade. I enjoyed taking so many pictures in 2009 that I am going to continue in 2010. With family, work, and all the things going on in each of our lives, it is important to appreciate all the little and big things that make up our lives--meals, work, flowers, travel, nature, etc. It is a sampling of all these things that I hope to capture in 365 photographs.
beautiful flowers!!! Great shot!!
