January 7 Snowy World

This is the view out my backdoor this morning with snow coming down.  I couldn't capture the snowflakes very well  because it is so dark today.  I cannot remember when we had temperatures above 20 degrees--maybe more than a week ago.  More snow and frigid cold in the days to come.  The news said that parts of the Midwest have wind chills of -57 F (-50C).  The cold is going to be even worse in the coming days just in time for classes to start and to go back to work.   Maybe all this snow will brighten things up.  I saw deer tracks on my deck this morning--looks like it was spying through the windows.
