Mounds Park. A twenty minute drive from home takes us to Mounds State Park, one of my favorite local places to go. A long workday and high heat disappeared as a friend and I walked along the White River in the park in the evening. The top picture shows part of the Great Circle Mound, built over 2000 years ago by the Native Americans. We didn't dare stop though or the mosquitos would have carried us away.

Terrific pics. I enjoy our visits to this park. I remember when Ken was in a stroller and we did the loop. A little rough for that stroller, but we made it. Great fun.
